Welcome to peepolink ("we," "our," or "us"). peepolink is a link-in-bio platform operated at peepo.link. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services.

By using peepolink, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store plain-text passwords). If you sign up via Twitch or YouTube/Google OAuth, we receive your display name, profile picture, and platform username from those services.

Profile Information

Information you voluntarily add to your public profile, including your display name, bio, avatar image, background image or video, social media links, stream schedule, and gear/setup items. This information is publicly visible on your creator page.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan or send a tip, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account tier.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect basic usage data including IP addresses (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser type, device information, and pages visited. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot prevention, which may collect device and interaction data as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain our services; create and manage your account; process payments and subscriptions; send transactional emails (password resets, account confirmations, security notifications); respond to support requests; detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security issues; moderate uploaded content for policy violations; and improve our platform and develop new features.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

Service providers — Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (image and video hosting), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (security and bot prevention), and AWS Rekognition (content moderation). These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.

Public profile data — Your creator page (display name, bio, avatar, links, schedule, gear, social links) is publicly visible by design. Tip leaderboard entries (tipper display name and amount) are visible on creator pages where enabled.

Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Your data is stored in Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS/HTTPS. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Cloudflare Turnstile which may set cookies for bot prevention. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not participate in ad networks or sell data to advertisers.

You have the right to:

Access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your Settings page; delete your account and all associated data permanently; request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us at support@peepo.link; opt out of non-essential communications.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

peepolink is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@peepo.link and we will delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of peepolink after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
